Activities Abound At Arcadia

There is so much to do at Arcadia Lodge that you may have difficulty deciding what to choose first!  Everyone loves to our sandy beach.  You will enjoy relaxing by the clear waters of Turtle Lake while your kids play in the shallow swimming area or you can swim out to our swim raft to lounge in the sun.  Kids and adults alike enjoy our playground with its kid-friendly equipment, horseshoes and basketball court.  With nearby hiking trails, weekly activities, great dining and shopping you will never lack for something to do...but don't worry, you've got a whole week to experience it all!

Sunday:
Join our area professional fishing guide for a free seminar on fishing Big Turtle Lake. Meet at the dockside picnic tables at 3 p.m.

Monday:
9:30 - 11 a.m. Kids Activity!
12 - 2 p.m. Join Casey on the main dock for FREE hot dogs and tubing on Big Turtle Lake.

Tuesday:
9:30 - 11 a.m. Kids Activity!
Hit the sand for Arcadia Lodge's Sand Castle Tournament. Spend the day building castles, judging at 7:30 with smore'!

Wednesday:
9:30 - 11 a.m. Kids Activity!
12 - 2 p.m. Join Casey on the main dock for FREE hot dogs and tubing on Big Turtle Lake.

Thursday:
9:30 - 11 a.m. Kids Activity!

Sunday:
Hit the sand for Arcadia Lodge's Sand Castle Tournament. Spend the day building castles, judging at 5:00 pm with smore'!

Looking for something to do on your own? Arcadia Lodge offers a number of things beyond our planned weekly activities. Here are a few ideas!

• Take a cruise around Big Turtle Lake in a canoe or kayak, available at the beach free of charge(First Come, First Serve).
• Get the gang together for some sand volleyball or a basketball game on our full sized courts.
• Enjoy our large sandy beach and on the water playground with sun bathing and swimming on the sky blue waters of Big Turtle Lake.
• Take a walk through the wilderness of Minnesota on our mile long walking trail winding through the forest.
• Get the whole group together for a pontoon ride.
• Spend a day fishing for Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Sun Fish and Northern Pike.
• Roast some marsh mellows and make a smore' over the bon fire.
• On the rare rainy day enjoy Arcadia's large game room with arcade games, pool table and a WII! Arcadia also offers a wide range of board games available for guests to take back to there cabins.
